everlane sweatshirts

I wrote about their silk shirts a few months ago, and now that I'm back in the states for a bit, I'm thinking I really need to place an order with Everlane and check out their goods in person.  I'm currently ogling the sweatshirts, though I'd be all over the t-shirts and tanks as well if they weren't currently sold out (!).  I've heard people raving about the cut and the supreme softness of these french terry crewnecks, and I'm so curious to try them myself.  If (and when) I do I will definitely let you know how they fare.  In the meantime, here's some more images to whet your appetite...

Looks like the kind of thing you would live in and never want to take off, doesn't it?  If you're not an Everlane member yet, join with this link so they know you're coming from the Land of the Nomad ;)

  1. I've joined their website and all I do is get emails taunting me with lovely stuff they won't ship to me :o( Pah.

You must definitely investigate the Everlane sweatshirts. I went for the safe option this time - a couple of Gap ones (navy and grey marl) which were 100% cotton in their sale. Hopefully there will be no pilling! I have to confess, they are a good fit on me though. I can't do overly slouchy - I just look lost ... and really scruffy .... and a little mental.

    1. I do know how you feel about your sweatshirts. Did those H&M ones not work out for you in the end?

As for Everlane, hopefully they will start international shipping soon. Let them know you want it!

    2. The blue H&M one was the most perfect fit and the comfiest thing ever but the polyester content which I hadn't noticed killed it. It's pilled and for some reason - even across my boobs which is kind of strange because normally that only happens when there's a bit of friction involved and I don't recall doing anything in that region! The grey one if I'd had gotten it would have been a better bet - that was cotton and viscose. I think I read the composition label for the grey and assumed it for the blue but it wasn't the case. Serves me right. But it's perfect for cleaning the house in now :o)

    3. Well, we all need a good house-cleaning sweatshirt! Weird about the pilling on the bust, it makes me want to make all sorts of inappropriate jokes but I will refrain ;) Curious to hear how the gap ones work out for you. I just ordered one of my favorite little bralettes from them, so excited.

  2. I have two, in different sizes. The smaller one I wear with pencil skirts and the larger one with jeans or trousers. I am waiting for the right occasion to layer the silk blouse with the sweatshirt as shown in one of the photos of the blouse on their site!

    1. So smart, the two different sizes. I like my sweatshirts slightly oversized, but it's true that when you find a perfect basic it's great to stock up and have some different options. I like the way you think ;)

    1. Every time people talk about them that's what they say! So cool. Absolutely going to have to get one for myself.
