Morning Shopping - Gryphon

You may have noticed I have a thing for coats and jackets. Ok, I have a thing for most things. But outerwear holds a special place in my heart. I think it's being from Wisconsin. People think that when you're from a cold-weather place you're immune to the cold. Always shocked when you're cold in say, California or Jerez. But it's not that we're immune. It's that we know how to dress for it. We know how to layer. And we know the importance of good coats and scarves and hats. So see? My love of these things is strictly utilitarian.

Gryphon is a brand I discovered yesterday, flipping through the June issue of Lucky. I fell in love with this gorgeous beaded top, but when I went online I saw coat after coat after jacket. Turns out that's what they specialize in. A sampling:
