vince

It was about a year ago that I posted those surreal sweaterscapes I'm so partial to and extolled the virtues of Vince knitwear.  Season after season they manage to just keep churning out high quality knits in totally covetable designs.  (And they last!  All of my Vince sweaters look impeccable even after years of constant use.)  But as much as I loved them, I was kind of convinced that was all they did and never paid much attention to the rest of their goods.  Until now.  So many good things on hand, like pony hair sneakers and oversized military coats:

And also t-shirts, leather jackets, silk shirts, and yes, of course, knits...

Needless to say I am very happy with this new discovery.  One of my favorite brands just got favoriter.

  1. Aww - you're liking the ponyhair slip ons then? Gap do them as well in plain black you know?

But back to Vince. Love the colours and silhouettes. Makes me feel so ready for autumn. I'm particularly loving the coats. Any luck with your perfect coat this year?

    1. Loving them! You know I flipped out when I saw yours. I just popped over to the gap website and didn't see them there though. I would probably still not pull the trigger though because I'm so wary of buying things online unless I know they're going to fit (or there's free returns). Oh how I miss having a Gap I can hit in person!

I am totally ready for autumn as well. I feel like we've been at nearly 40 for ages now here...

As for the coat, why yes I did have some luck! Here I was, ready to shell out the big bucks, and I found a super cheapie. Will post it next week, I promise!

    2. Ooh - can't wait to see the new addition. And a super cheapie too! Even better.

And you don't have a Gap near you? I thought it was a given that they were just everywhere. I happened to see the black pony skin ones in a Gap store last week and thought that you would be able to get a pair from there if you liked them. It might be just a matter of time before they come online. Fingers crossed for you.

    3. It's a pretty basic new addition, but at that price I just couldn't pass it up, especially since last year I searched high and low and couldn't find any coats that were possible candidates. Who knew I was so difficult?!

And no, no Gap here in Madrid. They did start shipping internationally recently though, which is great since I can get a new pair of my black skinny pants that are about to die, but I don't think I'd risk shoes unseen and untried. I will just have to live vicariously through you for a while when it comes to pony hair sneakers ;)
