A few storage ideas

My main storage issues are shoes (currently in a shoe organizer and lining the front hallway), purses (currently in a huge plastic bin in the back room) and scarves (currently everywhere). We're taking a scouting trip to Ikea tomorrow, but I'm thinking that we might wait to buy until after we hit the rastro (flea market) on Sunday. Look at this brilliant idea for storing shoes on an old ladder:

Slightly off the subject but tangentially related, I also love this use of a ladder. (Sorry, don't remember where I got this image from.) Oh yeah, I have got to get more ladders.

And back to storing stuff I have too much of, I think this is genius, and one of those smack-yer-forehead why-didn't-i-think-of-that ideas.

I have a bunch of hooks like that from Ikea for hanging our kitchen utensils. Perfect!
