I feel like recently all my posts were declarations and celebrations of summer's arrival. Well, it was premature. It's spring. Full on, allergy-ridden, rain-soaked spring. And not just rain, but crazy torrential downpours, accompanied by thunder and lightening. I actually love it, and find it oddly exhilerating every time there's another clap of thunder, like Zeus himself is sending me his energy, saying, "Go get 'em!" But it definitely does call for a different wardrobe.

This trench coat by Comptoir des Cotonniers is one of my favorites, but doesn't actually get worn that often because it's one of those pieces that doesn't keep me nearly warm enough in winter but if worn a few weeks from now would induce a heat stroke. In other words, perfect for rainy spring days!
