cos

Cos, or Collection of Style, is big sister to H&M and has stores sprinkled throughout europe.  Oddly enough, I never thought to check if there's one in Madrid.  Well, there is.  Danger, danger!   The pieces are beautiful, minimalist, well-constructed, and the shopping experience there is totally and utterly enjoyable.  And yes, it is of course more expensive than its younger sister, but justifiably so, and I really think that each and every piece is a steal.

And the t-shirts?  Can I just say that I'm no longer relying on Mr. Wang to supply me with perfectly draped silky soft Ts?  And that my new-found loves are half the price?  And can I also mention that while I still dream of having a VPL bra one day, this sporty number is bringing me all kinds of joy in the meantime?  These may seem like simple pleasures, but the quality is so great that I'm over the moon about it all.

Take a closer look at my first Cos Madrid haul after the jump...

rose gold (colored) bracelet not available online (sorry!)

Also wanting to come home with me but forced to wait til the next trip while I debate:

sleeveless pleat dress, panel dress (though it was actually a sleeveless version of this dress I fell in love with at the store, made me feel like Audrey Hepburn!)

What do you think?  Go back for more?  Buy myself a dress even though I hardly ever wear them?  Pretty sure I will be stocking up on perfect basic Ts and tanks before I head home for the summer, but I may be unable to resist picking up a few other things along the way...

  1. I'm so crazy jealous. The bra is so VPL and SO much cheaper.

    1. I know, right? I totally scored. I know you are a vpl fan too, so you know how ridiculously excited I was to find it.

  2. huh, I have heard about COS before, and saw an amazing pair of trousers (over at Golestaneh) but they didn`t have them in stock :( Since everything looks so good it seems to be of a good if not great quality so I never even imagined to associate COS with H&M.

    1. After having worn my t-shirts and pants and everything a number of times I think it's fair for me to judge: the quality is wonderful! Much better than H&M, if you have access to it I highly recommend you check it out.

    1. Thanks! It's basically Awesome Inc, but I've customized the fonts and colors a bit. Let me know if you have any other questions.
